The Microsonics ST™ Sample Prep System utilises BLU energy for NGS sample preparation. With the Microsonics ST™ system, a user would simply start with sample DNA in the Thermo Matrix tube, place the tube in the shearing device, select the target DNA fragment size, walk away and return with pinpoint accuracy on the requested number of base pairs.

MICROSONICS ST30 sample prep system
Applications – DNA & chromatin fragmentation for NGS library preparation.
• Provides high quality sample fragments from 320 bp to 1.5 Kb in one single device
• Uses commercially available Thermo Matrix tubes, reduces consumable costs
• Requires only 50 µL of starting sample, significantly reduces sample consumption
• Automation allows up to 8 samples to be processed simultaneously at a touch of button – maximizes walk-away time
• “Dial a DNA Fragment” settings offer user-friendly controls
• Entry price point with upgrade path to meet growing throughput needs
